A Package Deal
Julian and Kirsten both live on the island of Oahu and met at a sushi truck on their first date. Kirsten brought along her ten week-old French Bulldog and Julian knew right away that this was a package deal. They quickly learned that they lived within one mile of each other and bonded over their love of coffee and wine. With tourism being shut down on the island, it meant that life was quieter, which allowed them to get to know each other better. It was easy from the start and they enjoyed cooking meals and surfing the same spots together.
The Next Step
They knew that the happiness and ease they felt in their relationship was what a healthy partnership was supposed to feel like, and getting married was the next step in the journey. They also supported each other through many life changes, which only strengthened their bond. They both love that they have the ability to grow together, have similar interests, and never feel stagnant since they always push each other to become better people.

Proposing with a Replica Ring
Julian wanted to keep the proposal a surprise so he broached the subject by asking Kirsten what she thought of a design ‘for a friend.’ She pulled up her Pinterest board immediately and showed him all the ring inspiration pictures she had ready. She envisioned a round cut solitaire with a white gold band. When Julian worked with his designer, she advised him on the ring style that would work best with Kirsten's active lifestyle of surfing, exercising, and hiking. During his one-month replica try-on window, after seeing that no adjustments were necessary, he ended up showing the ring to Kirsten. She was the one who suggested he propose with it, and they got their final ring soon after.
A Custom Process With Guidance

Big Life Changes
The pair are getting married in an intimate ceremony at a home which overlooks a spectacular view of a deep valley and lush mountains. More exciting life changes are coming their way with the addition of a second French Bulldog puppy. Both dogs will be in attendance on the big day!
