Best Friends to Lovers
Blake and Sienna are the classic best friends to lovers story. They initially met through FaceTime three years ago when Sienna’s best friend called her and introduced her to Blake, who she was at a Braves game with at the time. He picked her some flowers and it kicked off them being best friends, talking on the phone every single day. Sienna remembers them having an instant connection, that undefinable chemistry. Their personalities have always clicked super easily with fun banter and an enjoyment of life. They started dating July 15 and there was no phase of having to get to know each other since they already knew each other like the back of their hands. They skipped a lot of the tough stuff because they were already best friends.
Standards Exceeded
Sienna feels like she’s truly never felt so loved in her life and remarks that she didn’t know a love like this was possible. She thought her standards were too high but Blake exceeded what she thought was possible. Faith was very important to them both, and keeping God at the center of their relationship has been one of the main keys. Words of affirmation are huge for Sienna and Blake not only ticks that box, but follows through with his actions, showing her that they’re not just fluffy words, but he actually means what he says.
The Butterfly Effect
They both knew they were going to get married, but since Blake knew how much Sienna loves surprises, he decided to make the proposal the surprise of her life! He took a cue from a story she shared with him once. A few years earlier Sienna was in the trenches of the dating world and was praying to God who, in that moment, confirmed that she’d get married someday, and he sent that promise in the form of a butterfly. She shared this with Blake and during his proposal he gathered together a bunch of butterflies that he had grown from caterpillar form, to surprise her along with her engagement ring. The timing had to be just right since once caterpillars turn to butterflies, they're only alive for a certain amount of time. They ended up coming out of the cocoons a day before the proposal - talk about meant to be!
Mall Stores Aint It
Sienna originally came across Wove on social media after beginning her engagement ring shopping process in-store. She remembers feeling pressured by the salespeople at these stores to buy rings and didn't feel like the special process she was hoping it would, leaving her feeling very discouraged. After finding Wove on TikTok, she did more research and started seeing all the amazing things people were saying about their experience working with Wove.
A Dream Ring, Literally
Sienna’s vision for her three stone ring came to her in a dream. She was wearing a three diamond ring with a twisted gold band. After waking up, she knew it was the design she was meant to create. For her, the middle stone, the biggest, is the representation of God, and Sienna and Blake are the two side stones. For them the closer they are to God, the closer they are to each other. She brought her vision to Kendall and she was able to bring it to life perfectly. Sienna recalls that it was mind blowing how she was able to recreate and make a ring that was so special for both of them, adding, “It's literally my dream ring. I didn't even know what my dream ring looked like until I looked down and see mine.”
Secret Stones
The Wove process was everything Sienna and Blake hoped for. They found it helpful to get on a call with Kendall to talk through everything and loved getting the sketches, where she was then able to make edits afterwards. Blake had the idea to add a little secret diamond on the inside of the band for Sienna’s birthstone, which made it that much more special. Sienna loved the replica concept because she was able to get a good feel for what the ring was going to look like without fully committing to it. She liked the flexibility of the process, noting that she began designing the ring together with Blake and then at one point, left the rest of the process up to him and Kendall. Sienna and Blake comment on how happy they were to have chosen the custom route instead of just picking a ring off the shelf at a random jewelry store. Sienna said that it made it feel so much more special and personalized.
Entrusted with Your Money, Time & Vision
The duo will marry at a vineyard this summer and plan to have a wedding with a romantic, whimsical and summery vibe - which feels fitting for the pair. Sienna has her dress already picked out and is excited for the big celebration that is sure to entail a lot of dancing and fun. Sienna closes out our conversation with the final thought that buying and engagement ring a huge purchase that you’ll have for the rest of your life, which is why she feels that it's really important to find a place that you can trust with your money, your time and your vision. She adds that Wove felt like a very safe space for her. She says, “Overall I could not have asked for a better experience. We did go to five different shops before we ended up going with y'all and it’s very special that we found y'all because it really just felt like home and like this is going to be my forever ring. We're very thankful to y'all for helping our vision and dream come true.”
